Lost In The Jungle?? AUUOOOO!!!

Ok, that's not a cool experience to share with you all. Haha, but well, yeah,, I want you to learn from my  mistakes here.I met wild monkeys, cows, dogs, and also actually there were so many hikers, along the trails. So I didn't think about get lost,,and not worry at all. So I sat on the beach for almost an hour, because I thought that I could catch the next boat in Ham Tin. So, yeah, couldn't find any trail, but only boats,so I turned around and walked to Ham Tin.

Before I reached there, I remember about an uncle who advised me to go to the beach. He said only need half hour walking from Sharp Peak Sign. I saw the nearest village after 20 minutes walking, so I thought "Uhm,,.this is just too fast, and where's the beach? Maybe I need to take another way,it's still 5pm, btw" And yeah , I took that way, oppositely from the village.

Fine, I saw there was no trail, but I continued to walked. I met wild cow again, took some pictures of him,and walked following the red ribbons tied by hikers in the branches of trees. There was a fallen tree blocking my way, but I don't know why,,haha,, I was still stubbornly finding another way. Maybe,, because I remembered about the beach. I walked and walked, until I could hear, kinda like water sounds, so I sped up walking. Finally,, I reached the beach!Yayyyyy!!!

But you know,, what did I find there? Just a quite beach,,, was so peaceful actually, only me, sand, and the sea. I saw a lot of footprints along the beach, means there was a crowded beach in the morning, or afternoon, but not when I was standing there, felt so strange for me. I screamed loudly, I could see the sea, with red color in some parts, I know it was just, some of algae families, maybe having dinner. But my mind,,said,,"No, it isn't algae, but someone's body in the sea, bleeding so hard, maybe eaten by sharks!!!!!" So I didn't wanna spend too long staying there. I made a very short video, then decided to go back to the village. And mind your step, because cow's poop everywhere.

Ok, I didn't wanna take the same way with my first route, so I took another direction. I just randomly chose the nearest entrance, not exactly an entrance actually. Because I needed to bend my body, almost crawling to get there. And also so many plants with thorns, scraping my skin, but I didn't pay attention,it was 5.30pm, and was almost dark, no friends, no foods, no internet, nothing, but only me.

Until I saw those bones. I stopped walking, and looked around me. I couldn't find red ribbons, footprints, I totally lost in the jungle! I know heyy, it was just cow's fossil. But then, again, my mind said "How if there's a cannibal here, and you come even closer to their home, and they"re gonna make you as a delicious dinner! Noo way!!!" I quickly walked back to the entrance, to the thorny plants, and to the small hole for me to crawl.I just wanted to get out of the jungle! So,I tried to find the first entrance, with red ribbons in trees, branches, leaves. Omg, I walked so fast half run half flying, idk!

I reached the nearest village, there was a restaurant there, with two uncles watching TV. I asked them, where I can  catch the boat, and how long to go there. One of them said there's a ferry pier in Ham Tin, I only need to following the trail and walked for 15 minutes. Another uncle even said, "Ohh, I think 10 minutes is enough for you, girl" Ok, I smilingly thanked them, and continued my journey.

I walked along the river banks, and met two hikers, but I was in hurry to smile at them. Ok,, I finally reached Ham Tin, around 6pm. Texted my friends, saying that I get lost in the jungle! The truth is,,,I was eating a big portion of fried noodles. Awwww,,, I didn't mean to fool them!  Because when I asked a boy, uhm,, a waiter in that restaurant, he said I only need to walked for few minutes from there to catch the boat. But then, when I was still enjoying my lunch and dinner at the same time, there was an uncle suddenly said that there's no boat there. "You have to walk to Pak Tam Au, because I worry, there's no boat in this hour" I looked at him,"Omg, are you kidding me, uncle? I started from Pak Tam Au at 12.30pm today, and now,it's almost 6.30pm! Are you sure, there's no another way, for me to just go back home?" He showed his symphaty,"My only advise, girl, is just quickly finish your food, and walk again" Ughhh,, he reminded me for few times, before I really listened to him.

And the real journey had just began. Felt like, "I wanna steal this boat laa! I don't care if I end up in the jail! But,the only problem is, I don't know how to operate it". Ok ,I walked as fast as I could, was so wet of sweating. Mosquitoes happily had a party on my hands, but I din't care!Just walked and walked, there was only home in my mind. "I am not a loser, I'm not a loser" I said to myself, over and over, repeatedly! I used my phone as a flashlight, covered my ears, listening random song, so I didn't feel lonely, scared, or worry. Sometimes I turned off my flashlight, when there was a lamp. But suddenly the lamp was turned off somehow. I got a heart attack!!!I walked faster!Whoaahh,, I ignored some men sitting near by Sharp Peak sign. When I finally could see the boats, I was just too late, they were all gone, uhh, leaving me alone!
In the dark there were some hikers also without light, they said,,hallo, and hi,asked me, am I alone. I answered them without slowing down my steps. And then, maybe, ten minutes before I reached Pak Tam Au, there was a couple, standing in front of me, they had no light with them,so we walked together. When we finally could meet the other hikers in the starting point, I felt so grateful! I was 7.30pm, I put on my clothes and walked to the bus stop. So many people there, then I stopped my music, drank lemon tea from the restaurant in Ham Tin,I put it in my bottle as I didn't have enough time there. I could hear the wild dogs howling, talking to each other maybe. I texted my friends saying that I've safely got in the bus. She blamed me, talking about how stupid I am, hiking alone, in the foggy and drizzly day, have no plans, with such not enough equipment, bla, bla, bla, etc.
Ohh, well, when I finally got in the train, I couldn't open my eyes,it was an exhausting journey. Felt so sleepy, as I woke up in the early morning, and had 7 hours hiking. Woahhh, I've learnt from my mistakes, that I won't hike alone, I'll always make a well preparation for every journey, and that I will also always hike in the morning, so if I get lost again, I wouldn't spend my night in the middle of the dark jungle. Haha,, it's been a week, but you know, the mosquitoes bites on my hands still feels so itchy. Just, I won't stop hiking:)

Monkeys, Puppies, and Beaches!

Still about Sharp Peak Expedition! Ohh and yeahh I also met some wild monkeys there!Monkeys with bananas? Haha, no, lucky me,because I could see the king of monkey eating leaves on the treetops. Do you wanna see him too? Ok, don't worry, I got some pictures of him. Not a good one, though :p

Haha, I didn't realize there was a monkey there, until I heard some noises, and when I saw another side of the hill, awwww he was there, having his lunch.
Also there were so many wild dogs, but they won't bite you, unless you tease them! One of them, still baby, really so cute! So many hikers called it,"Heyy, cute puppy, wanna play with me?"

I sat on the beach for a while, wrote a letter for my friend. Haha, I know sounds like an old way :p , a message in the bottle? Awww! Then that puppy and his mom, they successfully  made my day! You know why? When I was sitting alone there, they just suddenly came to me, and showing me their best pose. I laughed happily when I saw that dog many times changed the pose and following by her baby!Exactly the same pose, they were just so compacted!Haha :D  But the other dogs, they blocked my way, by sleeping along the trail, haha, look at them!

As It was just still about 3.30pm , I decided to continue walking. I went to the other side of the beach, but couldn't find any hiking trails, so I turned around back to the crowded beach ( haha crowded by sleeping dogs and hikers of course :p )

I chose Ham Tin as my next point to take a rest and also I planned to just take a boat  back to home actually. I asked someone, how long it will take to reach Ham Tin, she only said, "Ohh still so far away, but don't worry, there are so many restaurants there!" Smilingly I thanked to her. I forgot about Sharp Peak, until I saw a sign. I asked an uncle and he advised me not to go there, as it was almost dark, around 4.20pm. I told myself,"Come on, this is the reason why you come here, don't miss your chance, heyy!" But that uncle and also his friend, they persuaded me haha, not relly!
They said "Next time you need to go earlier, if you wanna climb it,and it's raining now, so dangerous for you!You may go to the beach, just half hour walk from here" So I followed their instructions then :p

Sharp Peak! I am Coming, Yippie!!

What is Sharp Peak? Where is it? How to go there?  Haha,,ok ,easy, easy :p
Sharp Peak, also known as Nam She Tsim (蚺蛇尖), is a hill which lies within the Sai Kung East Country Park,[1] north of Tai Long Wan, in the Sai Kung Peninsula in Hong Kong. It is particularly well known for its well defined sharp peak, which rises to a height of 468 meters above sea level.[1] The hill is reasonably hard for hikers and should only be attempted in good weather with correct equipment, although it is a popular site for hiking in Hong Kong.

Yup, that's it! I couldn't see the beach clearly because it was too foggy and drizzly yesterday. So I started from Diamond Hill Exit C2. Was quite easy to find the bus terminus, from Exit C2 , then you just need to turn left. And walk to find the 96R bus stop, but it's only operating on Sundays and public holidays. I got in bus around 11.20 am , couldn't close my eyes because it was my first time, and was alone, so I didn't wanna miss it! Pak Tam Au bus stop, haha I was repeating that name along the way, but it took so long to reach there, almost an hour! Whoaahhh! Finally I got off and began my journey around 12.30pm

Nothing's special, I was just following the trail. I thought "Seriously it's gonna be so easy for me!" Haha, I didn't mean to underestimate the reviews that I've read  randomly from some hikers. But even thought yesterday was a drizzly day, I didn't find it hard for me to just hike.

Haha, I was surprised to see this guy passing that bridge. I didn't wanna fight with him,,aww haha, so I let him to just walk first. Forget about "Ladies First" rules, ladies! He's such a strong big wild guy,,,and he's hungry!

So, it's a lunch time, isn't it? Nom nom nom! Yeah,, you look so hungry Mr.Bull, don't worry I won't bothering you!
So I walked slowly beside him, was a bit nervous actually, as I saw his size, and his horns!

I saw a mangroves beach, haha I happily ran to the water! I spent few minutes just sitting there! Then a hikers family came, papa, mama, with 2 children, so I gave my seat to them, haha,it was just a stair actually, while me,wandering along the beach. Oh heyy, I don't remember, but I think it was around 2.30pm when I reached the mangroves beach. It was such a long journey for me. I thought that I've missed the Sharp Peak, my main destination. But no, I haven't reached yet! Gonna tell you on my next post la :) So,, see you! And happy hiking all hikers!!!Yippiee!

Shing Mun Reservoir

Haha,,yeah! Shing Mun Reservoir, where is it? Ok, Shing Mun Reservoir is a reservoir in Hong Kong. It's located in Shing Mun, the area between Tsuen Wan and Shatin, in New Territories. I've never been there, until last week. Actually that was my friend's idea, so I just following them :p

Yup,that's it! Shing Mun Reservoir

We took off from Tsuen Wan MTR exit C. You just need to walk along the footbridge, and turn left. You will see a traffic light right in front of you, just don't cross the road. Haha, because we did, lol! But then my friend asked someone, finally we got the right track, yay!!! We found the minibus stop. Just remember to take minibus no 82! But don't worry, there was a sign with simple English said " Shing Mun Reservoir". Bus fare : HK$ 4.90

Macaca Mulatta in Shing Mun Reservoir

So many monkeys there!!!I advise you all,to be careful! You know why? Last time, a wild monkey suddenly grabbed my grapes! I know that was my fault! My friend had warned me actually, but it was just too late! And in seconds, there were so many monkeys coming to me, including their King! "Omg,I'm in a real danger!", I thought. I didn't move for a while, when the King showing me his teeth. Few hikers who walked with me, they did nothing, but watching me. While my friends, they had left me behind!!

Also if you are lucky enough, you could see a wild cow there! So yeah, haha, mind your step, heyy! I saw cow's poo, and also monkey's poo of course, everywhere!!
Moaahhhhh! a wild cow in Shing Mun Reservoir

We were busy taking pictures along the way. So, I'm not really sure how long it takes if we just walking nonstop. And there's a Butterfly Park, but it was closed. I think because it's not a butterfly season, but still caterpillar, as I saw many caterpillars in a tree.

I thought that I lost my way, because I din't see my friends. But I continued walking, and finally...

I found the way to get down to the reservoir! Haha,I totally forgot about my friends, until I heard someone calling my name. "Awww, I'm fine!!", answered me. I looked at the other side of the reservoir, and yippie!!They were still taking pictures of course, same as me. I was so happy that day, but we needed to rush! One of my friend, she even ran along the way back to the minibus stop, haha.

My Dad, My Real Hero:)

My dad,he is not so tall, he's also small
My dad, with his black shiny skin because of sunburning plus sweating
My dad with his beard and bushy mustache
My dad with his stories and smiley face
My dad and his stupid jokes just to make me laugh
My dad with his spirit will always say "yes,my girl, you can do it!"
My dad is my everything
He is my idol, my friend, my motivator, and my tutor
He is my guardian, my favorite person
He would take me wherever he goes, proudly introducing me to anyone he met
"She's my little girl,a smart and good girl"
That's what he always said
My dad is my compass
The only one I really trust
He would show me the way when I'm lost
He's also the one who I love the most
My dad is my real hero
When I want something then he won't give a no
No matter how far, but he would still go
Ohh,dad, you know?
I would do anything to keep you smile
I won't let you down even just for a while
Cz I love you dad, and I promise that I'll always be your good little girl:)

Is It me or My Hormones???

PMS and painful periods? No way!!!!Ok,you are gaining weight, feeling"off" and frequently tired, irritable, and moody. During the week before your period, you may be subject to cravings, bloating, mood swings, or anger. The week of your period, you get cramps and perhaps heavy bleeding. Also for women in 40's, you may be noticing more frequent problems with memory, focus, and mood, not to mention weight gain, sex drive, and what feels like the loss of your sensuality.

PMS and painful periods are often the result of a hormonal imbalance. When your hormones are balanced again, these problems can disappear. And balancing your hormones is surprisingly simple.Support your hormonal balance by practising the de-stressing activities that restore your spiritual and mental health.

And you can modify stress by :
  1. Getting seven to nine hours of restful sleep each night.
  2. Doing moderate"bursting" exercise 20 minutes a day, four days a week.
  3. Avoiding as far as possible the environmental toxins that stress your system.
  4. Reaching out to loved ones, friends, and community.
  5. Being outdoors.
  6. Getting a pet or spending time with animals.
  7. De-stressing with such activities as massage, yoga, meditation, "me time", journaling, and other ways of reconnecting to yourself.
  8. Treating yourself with as much compassion as you show others.
  9. Engaging in blissful activities that give you pleasure, such as dancing, singing, reading, playing with children, or sex!

How Can I Survive Without Internet? Whoaaa:o

Yep!!It's kinda like a stupid question actually. But admit it, that internet is the most important thing for everyone,or almost everyone! Then how can I survive without the internet in my life? Ok,you may live in the jungle then. Haha,no just kidding:p

So I woke up this morning and I opened my laptop, ready to write a new article. But you know what?? *No internet connection, try to reload this page* That's what I got. I thought, it was just a temporarily trouble. Then I checked all the wires that connected with my PC,unplugged, then plugged it back.Still no difference. Ok, I checked the wifi connection, still no internet access!!!whoaa! I racked my brain, trying to figure it out,how can I connect my PC with the internet access.

Finally I used my old phone as a wifi hotspot. It's working perfectly for the other phones, but not for PC. Fine, I give up!!!Maybe I am not gonna use it for a while. But I won't give up on making new articles here,,haha. So I use my phone to post something new. Because, yeah, if you really wanna do something, you will always find a way.But if you don't,then you will only find an excuse:p

Life Cycle of Butterflies

This morning i saw a dead butterfly on the street. It looked so pretty, still so beautiful, when I found it. So I took it, and put near the flowers in the park. Because I wanted to take its picture.
A beautiful butterfly
Then I continued to walk, and I met a pupa. It's metamorphosis from caterpillar, then pupa, before finally become a beautiful butterfly. I remember that I got this lesson when I was in primary school. But now,oh well, I have totally forgotten about it. So this will be my topic for tonight, life cycle of butterflies.
transformation from caterpillar into pupa

`     As advanced insects, butterflies have a "complete" life cycle. This means that there are four separate stages, each of which looks completely different and serves a different purpose in the life of the insect.
  1. The egg ( 3-4 days ) is a tiny, round, oval, or cylindrical object, usually with fine ribs and other microscopic structures. The female attaches the eggs to the leaves, or stems, usually near the intended caterpillar food.
  2. The Caterpillar or larva ( 10-14 days )  is the long, worm-like stage of the butterfly. It often has an interesting pattern or stripes, and may have spine-like hairs. It is the feeding and growth stage. As it grows, it sheds its skin four or more times so as to enclose its rapidly growing body.
  3. The Chrysalis or pupa ( 10-14 days )  is the transformation stage within which the caterpillar tissues are broken down and the adult insect's structures are formed.
  4. The adult or imago ( 2-5 weeks ) is colorful butterfly usually seen. It is the reproductive and mobile stage for the species. The adults undergo courtship, mating and egg- laying. The adult butterfly is also the stage that migrates or colonizes new habit.

Why Do I Always Procrastinate??

So, what does procrastinate mean? Ok, I got a definition from internet :

to be slow or late about doing something that should be done : to delay doing something until a later time because you do not want to do it, because you are lazy, etc.

Ohh well, I always procrastinate doing my homework, until the night before my exam. Because my lecture, he usually won't allow us to join the examination, if we don't collect the homework. "That's the main requirement for the exam!",he reminded us. Here I just wanna discuss about what's the reason behind a procrastination? Ok, if I said that I'm a professional procrastinator, maybe I won't had any exam, until now! True story:p But I had finished all my exams! Good news, haha.
From the definition, It says" because you are lazy, etc,,
Haha, lazy or not,but trust me! Procrastinating : of course everyone does it in a different way, heyy!
Here are some of my reasons I'm doing it,or maybe you could say, some excuses from me!!!
  1. I am not interested with the subjects. Then I will feel so bored, whenever I think about it, that's why i don't feel like wanna touch it! If you agree with this, then we need to have a real motivation, to just start doing  the homework. For example, you may give a reward for yourself,if you could finish your homework within the deadline. Like you may play a game for an hour nonstop, or eat chocolate if you are on diet for your reward!
  2. Distractions! They are a major cause of procrastination, I guess. Haha! Sometimes the temptation to engage in conversations with your friends or chatting with them.Maybe you think,"ohh it's ok laa, it will only take few minutes to chat with them",but you ended up with doing nothing for that day. Then also internet, as nowadays there're so many social networks that could allow you to talk with anyone in any country in this world. Once they comment on anything that you post, then you are gonna reply them, nonstop.
Ok,you just need to resist all temptations!Take an hour or maybe two of your time for doing your homework. The hardest is to just start it! Actually it will be easy when you really doing it, trust me:) Like,if you won't touch it, then you are not gonna start it,and you wouldn't ever finish your homework! So, what are you waiting for? Just start it,,,now!!!

The Real Happiness

So I really had a good day today, a good time, and I am still so happy, awww! Haha:D believe me or not, but I met many amazing people in my life. Maybe sounds a bit childish, haha. But I don't need to act like a normal person when I am surrounded by them. Because they know that I am pretty weird, and that's so natural I guess. I was born this way!Yaaay!!!
I really love to make anyone, ( yup, anyone ) to laugh! I really love it, when I could see someone smiling at me! And I don't even care if they think that I am crazy, because I smile to everyone. Trust me! If you meet someone that I just described about, ohh well you are probably lucky enough, because that's me! Haha, I said you are lucky enough to see me. Of course!

So, for me, happiness is pretty simple! Happiness is everywhere! Happiness is a choice, you are the only person who can make you happy!!!!You are just as happy as you choose to be! Whenever I saw my reflection in the mirror, then I smiled, haha. Even though I had dozen of pimples on my face, or even when I had a bad hair day in the morning!I just don't care! I am so happy that I am still breathing right now. That I can still writing here. Because there are so many beautiful reasons to make you happy. And yeah, even for me, sometimes I could be so happy with no apparent reason, lol! I could be happy with every little things that I saw, I heard, and I felt. When I saw beautiful flowers and skies, when I could hear the birds singing, trust me, almost anything.

And for you, who read this, I also want you, all,to be happy. Not because of me, heyy! Not because of this article! Because I'm just sharing what that I feel, I'm just sharing my happiness. The real happiness is depends on ourselves. Not because of me, or anyone else.Your real happiness is depends on yourself. Doing something positive, like helping the others, give to the others, because it would give you a satisfaction. And it would make you happy, somehow.Life is so beautiful! Be happy, and enjoy it!
